Very very good. This restaurant is self served. I like it a lot. My husband and I ordered beef hot pot and crab noodle soup. They were so good. We will definitely come back. Highly recommend this place. And its very new and clean too.

Unbussed tables. Bussed tables not wiped with crusty stuff on top. Low end restaurant with bad decor and lighting. Food was not great. I would have been better off spicing up Ramen noodles from the grocery store. I wanted this to be great. It wasnt even ok. I had beef pho. Wife tried #15. She took one bite of meat and it was no for her. I tried it also. Funky taste Portions were large Spring roll dipping sauce was ok Table condiments were dirty and crusty with lids open on many? Overall, just no.

Pho Sai Gon is a great Vietnamese restaurant. It has a casual lunchroom feel, where you place your order at the counter and then pick up your food there. You leave your dirty dishes on a shelf by the kitchen. The menu setup is a bit unusual, with a bunch of color photos on the wall in the corner. This makes it difficult to see everything on the menu, especially when others are waiting in line behind you to look at the menu. It might work better if the menu is placed behind the counter, so customers can read it while ordering.

I do not recommend this place. They are unethical and disrespectful to customers when screwing up orders. I was on a road trip and decided to Google Map a Pho restaurant in KC with the highest ratings and thats how I found this restaurant. While ordering the Vietnamese Beef Stew I asked cashier if it came with bread. He said it comes with Bun Bo Hue thick noodles but I could substitute it for bread or pho rice noodles. I told him thick noodles are perfect. After receiving my noodles, I tasted the broth which seem good and beefy. I then added all the fresh veggies and I dug into bowl only to find out it was Pho noodles.. I brought back to the front desk and told them the order was wrong. The cashier acknowledged the mistake, took it back, and said theyll fix it. When they brought me a new bowl I tasted it and notice it seemed water down and not as flavourful as the bowl before. I suspected they must had risned the meats and put it back in a new bowl and thats why it tasted water down. All that just to save money but they dont realize Im a customer with good taste buds. The noodles for the new bowl had the spring roll noodles which I found odd cause usually its the ticker version. The new noodles were soggy and broken up. When I dug in for a peace of meat I found regular Pho noodles all over my meats!!! (See pictures) They forgot my orders of 6 eggrolls and I had to mention it to them. I found it odd that they dont bring out a glass of water and instead charged me .50 for 5 bottles of waters. (Covid?) Cashier seemed nice but clueless. Pho: Decent 6.75. I would not recommend it. Little sweet, color of broth was whiteish, not beefy. Bo Kho: Original bowl 8.5 was beefy and flavorful. Replacement bowl 5.5.. Eggrolls: 7. Skinny, not enough fillings but the fillings were good. Mung bean cake: 9 best thing I order. Never going back. Waste of time and money. What the Du ma is going on here.

Love the Beef Pho. The hot & sour pho was very spicy. The favorite was egg rolls. Very crispy & the sausage with it was yummy! The Tofu spring roll, very bland but comes with a tasty (peanut) sauce.

Edit: The prices have gone up since 2020, but the banh mi are still delicious. The banh mi are a bargain as they re $4.49 a sandwich. They also nicely separated the vegetables from the sandwiches. It was kind of odd that the vegetables weren t seasoned though. Regardless, I ll be going back to taste their other authentic dishes. Also, the cashier was fairly nice but didn t allow me to practice my Vietnamese.

If youre looking for good pho in Kansas City, this is one of the places you should go. The broth is incredible, and the beef tendon was solid. My favorite part might be that Pho Sai Gon has a veggie bar, so you can customize your bowl as youd like. The portions are pretty big, so be prepared for that. Pricing for what you get seems reasonable as well.
